Diamonds athuruga island resort is located in the south ari atoll and is easily accessible by seaplane. transfers are operated by trans maldivian airways from male international airport, with a flight duration of approximately 25-30 minutes. please note that a surcharge applies for this service, season 1 (01 nov 2025 – 15 apr 2026), adult (age 12 and above): usd 530 roundtrip, child (age below 12): usd 270 roundtrip, infant (under 2 years): complimentary (no seat provided), season 2 (16 apr 2026 – 31 oct 2026), adult (age 12 and above): usd 460 roundtrip, child (age below 12): usd 230 roundtrip, infant (under 2 years): complimentary (no seat provided), seaplane transfers typically operate from sunrise to sunset, which is approximately 7 am to 3:30 pm male city time. in order to organize the seaplane transfer, guests must provide their flight details to the property at least 72 hours prior to their expected arrival to email info.diamondsathuruga@planhotel.com, the free baggage allowance is 20 kg, plus 5 kg for hand luggage, per person. the carrier will transport excess baggage subject to payload availability at a cost of usd 5.00 plus applicable taxes per kg. carrier does not guarantee the baggage on the same flight as the passenger. also subject to payload availability, our airport representatives will then escort to the check-in counter for seaplane transfer and assist with the check-in process. once the check-in formalities are finished, will be transferred to the seaplane terminal, only a short 5 minutes away.
